Above-the-Knee Amputee – Bilateral: Standing to Sitting

Instructions:
  1. Approaches chair at 45 degrees.
  2. Transfers cane or crutch to left hand.
  3. Places right hand on chair seat and bends right knee.
  4. Left leg remains locked in extension.
  5. Weight is shifted to right hand and left leg.
  6. Finishes rotating and sitting as left leg finally flexes.
