International Projects

Prosthetika sent a team of 6 experts to Ukraine in April, 2015 to fit prosthetic limbs to soldiers who lost thier arms and legs fighting in the war with the pro-Russian seperatists.  The experts included four prosthetists, Chris Fantini, Chad Nilsen, Karina Vogen, and Jon Batzdorff. There was one physical therapist, Don McAllister, and one occupational therapist, Lynsay Whelan.

Monclova is an industrial town in northern central Mexico in which there were no services for indigent amputees. The local disabled community had decided to begin a community based rehabilitation program of thier own.  They have gotten the attention of thier local government and the mayor has promised his support of any program they are able to put together.
